To Whom It May Concern:
I traveled from Mexico City to California as an infant to be fitted with hearing aids at the Hear Foundation. Please find attached, “The Listener” (February 1965).
I grew up in Mexico City where I attended a mainstream bilingual school. After graduating from the American High School in Mexico City, I attended the Univeristy of Colorado at Boulder. I then moved to New York City where I received my Master’s in Public Health from the City University of New York and my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.
Thanks to the wonderful work Dr. Griffiths did and to her travels to Mexico City, I had hearing aids at three months of age and grew up speaking two languages.
Thank you,
Jennifer Paul (Suchman)
