Speech and Language Services
The HEAR Center provides services for children with speech
and language challenges. We offer diagnostic evaluation including
examinations of language development, articulation, speech rhythm,
voice quality, oral peripheral functions, as well as hearing screenings
to identify auditory issues.
Therapy is available for speech, language and voice
disorders on an individual basis. Parent education and home programs may be structured for some children.
A Multi-Dimensional Approach
We offer speech and language therapy for the following disorders:
- Articulation / Phonology
- Receptive / Expressive Language
- Fluency (stuttering)
- Voice
- Tongue Thrust
- Auditory Processing
We can also provide assistance to children with multiple disabilities, including Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Craniofacial Anomalies and more.
